Protect the front end of the Backbase product from abuse and advocate security within our company.
Meet the job
You are responsible that no unauthorised user can abuse our product.
The role has two sides to it: on one side you further fortify the frontend of our products and on the other side you are advocating the urgency of security. You know that you need to get everyone onboard with the security philosophy, and you know how to do it.
You will divide your time between enhancing the security policy of Backbase and taking part in multiple Scrum teams developing frontend components for the platform.
You will write secure code, review the code of your colleagues and keep the teams updated on security trends and threats. You think like a hacker: you know where to look for possible improvements. Your experience leads you to anticipate on possible scenarios. Colleagues naturally turn to you for your expert advice.

How about you?
-You have the experience under your belt to be accepted by the teams as the go-to person for application security related issues.
-You have excellent understanding of application security vulnerabilities, such as the OWASP
Top 10, and can educate other developers how to prevent security issues.
-You bring experience within a product-driven organisation.
-Bringing one or more security certifications such as CSSLP, CISSP, GSSP-JAVA, GWEB or CEH will be a big plus.
