- Around 4+ years as a Product Owner owning digital user onboarding experiences in the FinTech/Banking domains;
- Good understanding of business processes and how to model user journeys through them;
- To be a digital native that knows loads about tech, business, and UX;
- A strong track record with Agile/Lean product development practices and working with teams using Scrum;
- To be able to keep the overall picture isn’t a problem for you;
- Eagle eyesight for staying on top of data, deadlines, trends, and forecasts;
- Confidence in leading the squads and guiding them to the light. Issues don’t block you – you either fix them or find a workaround;
- Great communication skills that motivate internal and external stakeholders in the right direction;
- You know when it’s time to unwind and go grab a beer with your colleagues.

THE JOB AT BACKBASE
As our new Senior Product Owner, you will get to work within the Digital Sales product, consisting of multiple squads and PO’s working on other complex components. Your main focus is on a key part of our product offering, Retail Banking User Onboarding, which can be a stand-alone product focused on delivering a seamless experience to the end user.
Along with this comes the responsibility for the vision and implementation of key capabilities which will forever change the way banks onboard customers. You decide which features banks need to excel at providing a best in class onboarding experience that’ll set them apart in their market.
