You will be a part of a growing Compliance function within the Cloud business of Backbase providing Backbase as a Service (BaaS) to our customers. The two key services within the product are Managed Hosting (MH) & Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).

You have:
- 4-6 years of relevant working experience experience with the practical implementation of compliance programs in an international environment;
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s desired;
- Professional certifications (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CIPP, CCSK) desired;
- Fluent English - written and spoken required;
- Experience with Cloud hosting, software as a service (SaaS);
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum/SDLC working methods;
- Relevant security frameworks, e.g. SOC 2, ISO 27001, CSA-STAR, NIST;
- Privacy laws and regulations e.g. GDPR, LGPD;
- Banking laws and regulations, e.g. PSD2, EBA guidelines

You will play a key role in strengthening our Compliance team, ensuring Backbase Services adheres to internal and external requirements and regulations. This position would report directly to the Security and Compliance Officer.
As a Compliance Analyst, you will...
Contribute to building policies/procedures in regards to internal and external requirements (e.g. information security, data privacy, supplier risk management) and in line with business goals and objectives;
Maintain the design, implementation and operating effectiveness of processes and controls of the Backbase Services Control Framework to ensure compliance to SOC 2 TSCs, ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS requirements;
Support all internal functions to embed the compliance program into operation;
Assist in conducting the risk assessments and reporting on identified risks and potential treatment plans to the Security and Compliance Officer
Assist with vendor assessment program;
Internal Audit reviews of adherence to all policy, recommended remediation an monitor controls;
Execute compliance related projects for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) teams to meet specific policy or regulatory requirements and prepare for upcoming SOC 2 Type I & II audits;
Promote process integration and automation for compliance needs and able to guide the engineering colleagues to automate the needed processes (e.g. automated SDLC activity reporting, privacy by design) to reduce manual work and paper policies . apply now
